On Saturday, April 6th, the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion will host Frank: The Man, The Music, a special concert honoring the musical legacy of Frank Sinatra and his tremendous contribution to the Great American Songbook. Frank Sinatra was one of the most popular entertainers of the 20th century, forging a career as an award-winning singer and film actor. Sinatra rose to fame singing big band numbers. In the 1940s and '50s, he had a dazzling array of hit songs and albums and went on to appear in dozens of films, winning a supporting actor Oscar for From Here to Eternity. He left behind a massive catalog of work that includes iconic tunes like "Love and Marriage," "Strangers in the Night," "My Way" and "New York, New York."
Frank: The Man, The Music stars Bob Anderson, who truly embodies the essence of Ol’ Blue Eyes himself. Anderson is a singer and actor who is the top singing impressionist in the world. He is a three-time winner of “Best Entertainer” in Las Vegas and is an inductee in The Casino Legends Hall of Fame and The Las Vegas Entertainer’s Hall of Fame. Anderson will also be accompanied by a 32-piece orchestra each night playing all of Sinatra’s original arrangements to his most beloved songs.
