Willamette Valley Wineries Association is bringing wineries from Oregon’s Willamette Valley to Houston for Pinot in the City, a showcase of some of the world’s most exciting Pinot Noirs! Join us on Tuesday, February 4th at 6:30 PM for this exciting event.
The Willamette Valley has long been admired for its Pinot Noir, and as the region grows and gains recognition, newer styles continue to emerge. The tasting event at the Lobby and Atrium at Minute Maid Park features owners and winemakers pouring a selection of wines, including library and current releases, paired with delicious Pinot Noir-friendly small bites.
Pinot in the City guests can look forward to tastes of Oregon’s most famous variety, but also deft take on Chardonnay, sparkling wine, Pinot Gris, Gamay Noir, Riesling, and more. More than 60 producers are slated to be in Houston. Pinot in the City will continue its focus on the people behind every label, spotlighting winemakers and principle figures.
Attendees can chat with vintners, get advice on recent vintages, enjoy Pinot Noir–friendly bites, and discover the extensive breadth and quality inherent to the Willamette Valley wine scene. If you weren’t aware, the Willamette Valley is Oregon’s leading wine region, has two-thirds of the state’s wineries and vineyards, and is home to more than 500 wineries. It is recognized as one of the premier Pinot Noir producing areas in the world.
Tickets start at $85.00 and can be purchased online at www.willamettewines.com.
